Pawmie is an online platform rebelling against irresponsible pet adoption by fighting pet abandonment right alongside local adoption organisations. Unlike generalist marketplaces that lack transparency and simple processes, Pawmie provides a reliable and ethics-centred space where people can find their new best friend.
Because Pawmie targets a younger demographic, we wanted the brand to combine the youthfulness of their ideal client with their professional approach, as demonstrated through their focus on helping shelters & rescues.
The simple and clean layouts used throughout the brand were made to keep the heart of the platform on the pets. By using a nature-like colour palette paired with a rounded sans-serif, we captured the friendly personality while not being out of touch with the younger audience. The symmetry and alignment of the logo allowed us to create all the different letters from the same shapes, including the nose icon that doubles as a W.
